The courses are held in London, Leeds, at your very own dive club or at your favourite dive site with Maria's very own Photobus!  Midweek special courses are also held at a private venue in Lancing, Sussex.

Our venues in London and Leeds offer beautiful private facilities in a 32 degree heated pool.  Maria, who pioneered the first ever dedicated compact camera courses, will use her hands-on experience from gaining beautiful photographs and share hard-won tips and tricks to help you gain confidence in your photographic skills quickly and confidently to achieve beautiful photographs whether above or underwater. She will also share her experience and knowledge to develop your new skills learnt in an easy-to-understand course with little 'technical jargon'.  The day is completely focused on showing you how to take beautiful photographs with the equipment that you have whether you have just a camera in its' housing or whether you have additional lenses and strobes.  A day to remember is promised just like the many guests who have already attended our courses and are still raving about how much they enjoyed them.

The course is completely tailor-made to your camera and consists of going through all of your camera settings showing you how to make the most of your ISO, White Balance, Underwater Mode, and understanding Apertures and Shutter Speed.

If you are looking for a course which will show you how to get the most out of your own camera either because you've never explored its features and have purely relied on the auto function mode, or because you don't fully understand some of the programable functions of your camera underwater, then look no further, because this course is for you.
Unlike some other courses, Marie, teaching on a 2-1 basis, doesn't teach using one of her own cameras which you then have to somehow apply to your own camera, but clearly demostrates the various functions (and sometimes also potential limitations!) of what you are using now, in order to get the most out of your equipment, to make those underwater photos even more stunning rather than disappointing. 
Practical classroom based teaching for the first couple of hours, then into the pool to further practice those newly acquired skills makes this whole day course stimulating and so worthwhile!
