Amazingly, Maria has helped 20 course guests to win prizes including the first and only British Society of Underwater Photographers Best Beginner with a compact camera who also won Sport Diver's Photo of the Month that very month as well as 7 Sport Diver Photo of the Month winners in total to name a few. Weekend courses are run at our popular new venue at The Glebe Guesthouse in Frome, Somerset, as well as in London, West Yorkshire or throughout the summer months at the spectacular venue of Swanage Pier in breathtaking Dorset. Our venues in Frome and Gomersal, West Yorkshire, offer beautiful private facilities in gorgeous 30 degree heated pools. Maria, will use her hands-on experience and share hard-won tips and tricks to help you gain confidence with your photographic skills quickly and confidently to achieve beautiful photographs whether above or underwater with as little 'technical jargon' as possible. The day is completely focused on showing you how to take beautiful photographs with the camera equipment that you have whether you have just a camera in its' housing or whether you have additional lenses and strobes. A day to remember is promised just like the many guests who have already attended our courses and are still raving about how much they enjoyed them. The course is completely tailor-made to your camera and consists of going through all of your camera settings showing you how to make the most of your ISO, White Balance, Underwater Mode, and understanding Apertures and Shutter Speed as well as looking at the use of additional lenses as well as lighting techniques. Price £225 per person for a maximum of 2 people - don't worry if you don't have a friend to join you, I will do my best to find another participant at your level.
